Peter Collins

Peter Collins, one of Brilliance Chess Club's first students wins at the 2015  IA FM Robert Wheeler Open. 

Peter age 11 of Wolmer’s Prep School, worked with Brilliance Chess Club for 2 years now.

He won the Amateur section, G15 for players rated under 1300, with a perfect score of 6 points.

 6 wins from 6 games.

This was the second win for Peter as a Brilliance student.

He previously won in the amateur section of the 2014 R&D Open G25, his score was 5/6.

David Reid

David Reid, center with trophy, won in the 2015 Jamaica Open amateur section. He also had a perfect 6 points from 6 games. David, 13, a student at Jamaica College, poses with fellow JC students who also played in the same tournament. Kamal McMillan (L), T-19th, 3pts. River Bucknor (back), T-7th 4pts. Nikit Gupte & David Rose

Nikit Gupte (L), 12, a student at Jamaica College, poses with Coach Terence Lindo and David Rose (R), 15, also a student at Jamaica College, at the 2013 Fred Cameron Open. Nikit tied for 2nd place, 3rd on tie break, with 5 out of 6 points, in the Amateur Section.
David was 6th, 8th on tie break in the Intermediate Section, with 4 out of 6 points.

David later won the Intermediate Section in the 2014 IA FM John Powell Memorial Open

Adrian Wright & Myles Browne

Adrian Wright, 12, (L) and Myles Browne, 12, (R), students at Jamaica College, pose with Coach Terence Lindo, at the 2016 IA FM John Powell Memorial Open. 
They both finished tied for 1st Place, in the Amateur Secton, with 5 points from 6 games.

 6 Players were tied for 1st. Myles was 5th on tie break and Adrian, 6th.

Myles was improving on a solo 3rd place finish at the 2015 Fred Cameron Open, Amateur Section, with 4½ points. Adrian was tied for 4th with 6 others, in the same event, but was 8th on tie break.
